The Senate stands adjourned until 10:15am on Wednesday, September 30, 2026.

 

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of morning business with senators permitted to speak therein for up to ten minutes each.

 

During Monday’s session, Senator Thune filed cloture on the following:

  1. Motion to proceed to Cal. #548 H.R.7008, Stop Insider Trading Act
  2. Motion to proceed to Cal. #684 H.R.9340, Ratepayer Protection Act
  3. Executive Calendar #912 Keith Sonderling, of Florida, to be Secretary of Labor

 

At approximately 11:30am, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to Cal. #548 H.R.7008, Stop Insider Trading Act. If cloture is not invoked, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to Cal. #684, H.R.9340 Ratepayer Protection Act. If cloture is not invoked, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #912 Keith Sonderling, of Florida, to be Secretary of Labor.

 

Additional roll call votes are possible during Wednesday’s session.
