The Senate stands adjourned as a further mark of respect to the memory of former Senator Nancy Kassebaum until 10:00am on Tuesday, September 29, 2026.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of Morning Business with Senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each.
The Senate will recess from 12:30pm until 2:15pm to allow for weekly caucus
meetings.
If Senator Baldwin or her designee makes a motion to proceed to Cal. #456, S.J.Res.197, A joint resolution providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services of the Department of Health and Human Services relating to "Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, HHS Notice of Benefit and Payment Parameters for 2027; and Basic Health Program”, the Senate will vote on the motion at 2:15pm.
