The Senate stands adjourned for pro forma sessions only with no business conducted on the following dates and times:
Monday, May 4th at 6:45am
Thursday, May 7th at 10:00am
When the Senate adjourns on Thursday, it will next convene at 3:00pm on Monday, May 11, 2026.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of morning business with senators permitted to speak therein for up to ten minutes each.
At approximately 5:30pm, the Senate will vote on adoption of Calendar #5, S.Res.690, authorizing the en bloc consideration in Executive Session of (49) certain nominations on the Executive Calendar.
Following disposition of the resolution, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #728 Kevin Warsh, of Florida, to be a Member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System for a term of fourteen years from February 1, 2026.
Cloture has been filed on the following nominations:
1. Executive Calendar #728 Kevin Warsh, of Florida, to be a Member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System for a term of fourteen years from February 1, 2026
2. Executive Calendar #727 Kevin Warsh, of Florida, to be Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System for a term of four years
