The Senate stands adjourned until 12:00 noon on Sunday, March 22, 2026.

 

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of the House Message with respect to S.1383, the legislative vehicle for the SAVE Act.

 

At approximately 1:00pm, the Senate is expected to vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #696 Markwayne Mullin, of Oklahoma, to be Secretary of Homeland Security.

 

During Saturday’s session, Senator Thune filed cloture on Executive Calendar #697 Colin McDonald, of California, to be an Assistant Attorney General.

 

Additional roll call votes are possible during Sunday’s session.
