Schedule for Saturday, March 21, 2026

The Senate stands adjourned until 12:00pm on Saturday, March 21, 2026.

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of the House Message with respect to S.1383, the legislative vehicle for the SAVE Act.

At approximately 1:00pm, Senators should expect a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Tuberville amendment #4421 (women and girls in athletics).

If cloture is not invoked, the Senate will then vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Schumer motion to suspend Rule XXV, paragraph (n)(1) to permit the Committee on Rules and Administration to consider the following motion with respect to the message to accompany S. 1383: Motion to refer with instructions - that the Message to accompany S.1383 be referred to the Committee on Rules and Administration with instructions that the Committee consider legislation that fully funds the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) through fiscal year 2026.

As a reminder, cloture was filed during Friday’s session on Executive Calendar #696 Markwayne Mullin, of Oklahoma, to be Secretary of Homeland Security.  This cloture motion is expected to ripen on Sunday.
