Schedule for Friday, March 20, 2026

The Senate stands adjourned until 12:00 noon on Friday, March 20, 2026.

 

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of the House Message to accompany S.1383, legislative vehicle for the SAVE Act. 

 

At approximately 1:00pm, we expect a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to H.R.7147, DHS Appropriations, upon reconsideration.

 

Cloture has been filed on the following:

  1. Thune motion to invoke cloture on Tuberville amendment #4421 (re: women and girls in athletics).
  2. Schumer motion to invoke cloture on a motion to suspend Rule XXV, paragraph (n)(1) to permit the Committee on Rules and Administration to consider the following motion with respect to the message to accompany S. 1383: Motion to refer with instructions - That the Message to accompany S.1383 be referred to the Committee on Rules and Administration with instructions that the Committee consider legislation that fully funds the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) through fiscal year 2026.

These cloture motions are expected to ripen on Saturday.
