Schedule for Tuesday, February 24, 2026

The Senate stands adjourned until 2:00pm on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.  Following the prayer and pledge, Senator Kaine will be recognized to deliver Washington’s Farewell Address.

 

Following the Address, the Senate will be in a period of Morning Business with Senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each.

 

At approximately 5:00pm the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to Cal. #311, H.R.7147 Making further consolidated appropriations for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2026, and for other purposes (DHS Approps).

 

During Monday’s session cloture was filed on Executive Calendar #647 John DeLeeuw, of Texas, to be a Member of the National Transportation Safety Board for the remainder of the term expiring December 31, 2026.  This cloture will ripen during Wednesday’s session.
