The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.

 

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of morning business with senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each.

 

At approximately 11:30am, the Senate is expected to vote on a Sullivan motion to proceed to S.J.Res.80, disapproving the rule submitted by the Bureau of Land Management relating to "National Petroleum Reserve in Alaska Integrated Activity Plan Record of Decision". If the motion is agreed to, all time will be deemed expired, and the Senate will vote on passage of the joint resolution no earlier than Thursday, October 30th.

 

Following the vote on the motion to proceed, the Senate will vote on confirmation of Executive Calendar #457 Edmund G. LaCour, Jr., of Alabama, to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of Alabama.

 

At approximately 2:15pm, the Senate is expected to vote on a Kennedy motion to proceed to S.J.Res.69, disapproving the rule submitted by the United States Fish and Wildlife Service relating to "Record of Decision for the Barred Owl Management Strategy; Washington, Oregon, and California".

 

Additional roll call votes are expected during Wednesday’s session.

 

During Tuesday’s session, Senator Thune filed cloture on Executive Calendar #370 Joshua D. Dunlap, of Maine, to be United States Circuit Judge for the First Circuit. The cloture vote is expected on Thursday.
