The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Thursday, October 23, 2025.

 

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of Morning Business with Senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each.

 

At approximately 12:15pm, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to Cal. #191, S.3012 - Shutdown Fairness Act.  The Senate will then vote on confirmation of Executive Calendar #373 Stephen Chad Meredith, of Kentucky, to be United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Kentucky.

 

Upon disposition of the Meredith nomination the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #471 Rebecca L. Taibleson, of Wisconsin, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Seventh Circuit.
