The Senate stands adjourned until 3:00pm on Monday, October 20, 2025.

 

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of Morning Business with senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each.

 

At approximately 5:30pm, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to Cal. #168, H.R.5371, Continuing Resolution.

 

During Thursday’s session, Senator Thune filed cloture on the following:

  1. Motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to Cal. #168, H.R.5371, Continuing Resolution
  2. Executive Calendar #294 Anne-Leigh Gaylord Moe, of Florida to be United States District Judge for the Middle District of Florida
  3. Executive Calendar #372 William W. Mercer, of Montana, to be United States District Judge for the District of Montana
  4. Executive Calendar #373 Stephen Chad Meredith, of Kentucky, to be United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Kentucky

The cloture motions with respect to the judges are expected to ripen on Tuesday.
