Schedule for Pro forma Session and Tuesday, October 14, 2025
The Senate stands adjourned to then convene for pro forma session only with no business conducted on Friday, October 10, at 11:30am.
When the Senate adjourns on Friday, October 10th it will next convene at 3:00pm on Tuesday October 14th.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of Morning Business with Senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each.
During Thursday’s session Senator Thune filed cloture on the motion to proceed to Cal. #168, H.R.5371, Continuing Resolution. This cloture motion will ripen at 5:30pm on Tuesday October 14th and the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture.
Additional roll call votes are possible during Tuesday’s session.
