Following Leader remarks, the Senate will be proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #271, Cheryl Mason, of North Carolina, to be Inspector General, Department of Veterans Affairs.
At approximately 11:00am, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Mason nomination. Following the cloture vote, the Senate will vote on confirmation of Executive Calendar #113, Tyler Clarkson, of Virginia, to be General Counsel of the Department of Agriculture.
At approximately 2:15pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of Executive Calendar #172 Gadyaces Serralta, of Florida, to be Director of the United States Marshals Service. Following disposition of the Serralta nomination, the Senate will vote on confirmation of Executive Calendar #271, Cheryl Mason, of North Carolina, to be Inspector General, Department of Veterans Affairs (if cloture is invoked earlier). Following disposition of the nomination, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #254, Andrea Lucas, of Virginia, to be a Member of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission for a term expiring July 1, 2030. Following the cloture vote, the Senate will vote on confirmation of Executive Calendar #282 Matthew Kozma, of Virginia, to be Under Secretary for Intelligence and Analysis, Department of Homeland Security.
