Following
Leader remarks, the Senate will be proceed to Executive Session and resume
consideration of Executive Calendar #182 Thomas Gaiser, of Ohio, to be an
Assistant Attorney General.
At
approximately 11:30am the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on
the Gaiser nomination.
If
cloture is invoked on the Gaiser nomination, there will be up to two hours of
debate, followed by a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive
Calendar #95 Joseph Kent, of Washington, to be Director of the National
Counterterrorism Center, Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
If
cloture is invoked on the Kent nomination, there would be up to 2 hours of
debate, followed by a roll call vote on confirmation. Upon disposition of the Kent nomination, the
Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #113
Tyler Clarkson, of Virginia, to be General Counsel of the Department of
Agriculture.
If
cloture is invoked on the Clarkson nomination, there would be up to 2 hours of
debate followed by a vote on confirmation.
Upon disposition of the Clarkson nomination, the Senate will vote on the
motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #172 Gadyaces Serralta, of
Florida, to be Director of the United States Marshals Service.
Additional
roll call votes are expected during Wednesday’s session.
