Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #84 Katharine MacGregor, of Florida, to be Deputy Secretary of the Interior, post-cloture.
At approximately 11:30am, the Senate will vote confirmation of the MacGregor nomination. Following disposition of the nomination, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #42 Michael Rigas, of Virginia, to be Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources.
If cloture is invoked, at approximately 2:15pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Rigas nomination. Following disposition of the nomination, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #72 Emil Michael, of Florida, to be Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering.
If cloture is invoked, at approximately 5:30pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Michael nomination. Following disposition of the nomination, the Senate vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #82 Eric Matthew Ueland, of Virginia, to be Deputy Director for Management, Office of Management and Budget.
If cloture is invoked, we expect up to 2 hours of debate prior to a vote on confirmation of the Ueland nomination. Following disposition of the nomination, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #88 Sean Donahue, of Florida, to be an Assistant Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency.
