Schedule for Tuesday, May 13, 2025

The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.

 

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #69 Reed Rubinstein, of Maryland, to be Legal Adviser of the Department of State, post-cloture.

 

At approximately 11:30am the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Rubinstein nomination, followed by a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #71 Troy Meink, of Virginia, to be Secretary of the Air Force.

 

The Senate will then recess until 2:15pm to allow for weekly caucus meetings.

 

If cloture is invoked on the Meink nomination, the Senate will vote on confirmation at approximately 2:15pm, followed by the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #83 James Danly, of Tennessee, to be Deputy Secretary of Energy.

 

Additional roll call votes are expected during Tuesday’s session.

  5. Executive Calendar #42 Michael Rigas, of Virginia, to be Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources
  6. Executive Calendar #72 Emil Michael, of Florida, to be Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering
  7. Executive Calendar #82 Eric Matthew Ueland, of Virginia, to be Deputy Director for Management, Office of Management and Budget
  8. Executive Calendar #88 Sean Donahue, of Florida, to be an Assistant Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency
