The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Tuesday, September 10, 2019.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of Executive Calendar #403, Kelly Craft, of Kentucky, to be Representative of the United States to the UN General Assembly, post-cloture. All time on the Craft nomination will expire at 11:50am and the Senate will vote on its confirmation followed a cloture vote on Executive Calendar #5, Elizabeth Darling, of Texas, to be Commissioner on Children, Youth, and Families, Department of Health and Human Services.
The Senate will recess from 12:30pm until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.
At 2:15pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Darling nomination, and on the motion to invoke cloture on the Akard, Cabaniss, and Byrne nominations.
