The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Thursday, October 22, 2015.

Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of S.754, Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act of 2015, with the time until 11:00am equally divided between the two Leaders or their designees.

The filing deadline for second degree amendments to Burr-Feinstein amendment #2716 (substitute) and S.754 is 10:30am.

At 11:00am, there will be a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Burr-Feinstein amendment #2716 (substitute) to S.754. If cloture is invoked, there will be 10 minutes equally divided prior to a roll call vote on Paul amendment #2564 (liability immunity).

At 1:45pm, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session to consider the following nominations:

  • Executive Calendar #339 Julie Furuta-Toy - to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Republic of Equatorial Guinea;
  • Executive Calendar #340 Dennis B. Hankins - to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Republic of Guinea;
  • Executive Calendar #341 Harry K. Thomas, Jr. - to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Republic of Zimbabwe; and
  • Executive Calendar #342 Robert Porter Jackson - to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Republic of Ghana.

For the information of senators, 1 roll call vote is expected at 1:45pm; the other nominations are expected to be confirmed by voice votes.

1.      Motion to invoke cloture on Burr-Feinstein amendment #2716 (substitute) to S.754 Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act of 2015; if cloture is invoked, 10 minutes equally divided, then
