Schumer, Jeffries Demand Legislative Leaders Meeting To Address The Republican Government Shutdown

Washington, D.C. – Today, Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer and House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries demanded President Trump meet with them and congressional leaders:

“We write to demand a bipartisan meeting of legislative leaders to end the GOP shutdown of the federal government and decisively address the Republican healthcare crisis. Democrats stand ready to meet with you face to face, anytime and anyplace,” the Democratic Leaders wrote.
