The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Tuesday, July 14, 2026.

 

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #776 Matthew A. Schwartz, of New York, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Second Circuit, post-cloture.

 

At approximately 12:00 noon, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Schwartz nomination.

 

Following disposition of the nomination, the Senate will recess until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.

 

At approximately 2:30pm, Senator-designee Darline Graham is expected to be sworn-in.

 

At approximately 2:40pm, the Senate is expected to vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to Cal. #436, S.4784, National Defense Authorization Act.

 

During Monday’s session, Senator Thune filed cloture on Executive Calendar #779 Jeffrey T. Kuntz, of Florida, to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of Florida. Consideration of the nomination is expected during Wednesday’s session.
