The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.

 

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of morning business with senators permitted to speak therein for up to ten minutes each. 

 

The Senate will recess from 12:30pm until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.

 

During Monday’s session, Senator Thune filed cloture on the following nominations:

  1. Executive Calendar #760 Michelle Steel, of California, to be Ambassador to the Republic of Korea
  2. Executive Calendar #763 George Holding, of North Carolina, to be United States Director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development

 

During Tuesday’s session, roll call votes are expected in relation to the following:

  1. Motion to proceed to S.J.Res.190, disapproving the rule submitted by the Executive Office for Immigration Review relating to "Appellate Procedures for the Board of Immigration Appeals" (Kaine)
  2. Motion to discharge S.J.Res.172, directing the removal of United States Armed Forces from hostilities within or against the Islamic Republic of Iran that have not been authorized by Congress (Warnock)

A vote in relation to laying down the House message accompanying H.R.6644, Housing, is also possible.
