Schedule for Pro Forma Sessions and Monday, June 1, 2026

The Senate stands adjourned to convene for pro forma sessions only with no business conducted on the following dates and times:

            Friday, May 22nd at 8:30am

            Tuesday, May 26th at 8:00am

            Thursday, May 28th at 3:30pm

 

When the Senate adjourns on Thursday May 28th, it will next convene at 3:00pm on Monday June 1, 2026.

 

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of Morning Business with Senators permitted to speak therein for up to ten minutes each.

 

During Thursday’s session Senator Thune filed cloture on the following nominations:

  1. Executive Calendar #736 Kathleen S. Lane, of Montana, to be United States District Judge for the District of Montana
  2. Executive Calendar #743 Jeffrey M. Kuhlman, of Kansas, to be United States District Judge for the District of Kansas

 

At approximately 5:30pm on Monday, June 1 the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #736 Kathleen S. Lane, of Montana, to be United States District Judge for the District of Montana
