Schedule for Pro Forma Sessions and Monday, April 13, 2026

The Senate stands adjourned for pro forma sessions only with no business conducted on the following dates and times:

Monday, March 30th at 10:30am

Thursday, April 2nd at 7:00am

Monday, April 6th at 1:00pm

Thursday, April 9th at 12:00pm

 

When the Senate adjourns on Thursday, April 9, it will next convene at 3:00pm on Monday, April 13, 2026.

 

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #672 John Thomas Shepherd, of Arkansas, to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Arkansas.

 

At approximately 5:30pm, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Shepherd nomination.
