The Senate stands adjourned until 9:30am on Thursday, December 11, 2025.

 

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of the motion to proceed to Cal. #285 S.3386, to provide a health savings account contribution to certain enrollees, to reduce health care costs, and for other purposes (Crapo/Cassidy)

 

At approximately 11:30am, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to Cal. #285 S.3386, to provide a health savings account contribution to certain enrollees, to reduce health care costs, and for other purposes (Crapo/Cassidy).  If cloture is not successful the Senate will then vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed Cal. #284 S.3385, to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to extend the enhancement of the health care premium tax credit (Schumer).

 

Following the cloture vote on the motion to proceed to S.3385, the Senate will vote on adoption of Exec. Cal. #4, S.Res.532, authorizing the en bloc consideration in Executive Session of (97) certain nominations on the Executive Calendar.

 

The Senate is then expected to vote on the motion to lay before the Senate the House message to accompany S.1071, National Defense Authorization Act of 2026.

 

By consent, notwithstanding Rule 22, the Senate will vote on passage of Cal. #203 S.J.Res.82, disapproving the rule submitted by the Office of the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services relating to "Policy on Adhering to the Text of the Administrative Procedure Act" at a time to be determined by the Majority Leader in consultation with the Democratic Leader, no later than Friday December 19th.

 

Thursday, December 11th at approx. 11:30am – 4 roll call votes expected:

  1. Motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to Cal. #285 S.3386, to provide a health savings account contribution to certain enrollees, to reduce health care costs, and for other purposes (Crapo/Cassidy)
  2. Motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed Cal. #284 S.3385, to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to extend the enhancement of the health care premium tax credit (Schumer)
  3. Adoption of Exec. Cal. #4, S.Res.532, authorizing the en bloc consideration in Executive Session of (97) certain nominations on the Executive Calendar
  4. Motion to lay before the Senate the House message to accompany S.1071, National Defense Authorization Act of 2026
