The Senate
stands adjourned until 3:00pm on Monday, July 21, 2025.
 
Following
Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of Morning Business with Senators
permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each.
 
At
approximately 5:30pm the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture Executive
Calendar #171 Terrance Cole, of Virginia, to be Administrator of Drug
Enforcement.
 
During
Thursday’s Session Senator Thune also filed cloture on the motion to proceed to
Cal. #121, H.R. 3944, Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related
Agencies Appropriations Act, 2026.  This
cloture vote is expected to occur during Tuesday’s session.
 
At a time
to be determined by the Majority Leader in consultation with the Democratic
Leader, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the following nominations:
