The Senate stands in recess until 3:30pm on Thursday, June 26, 2025.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #93, Kenneth Kies, of Virginia, to be an Assistant Secretary of the Treasury, post-cloture.
Senators should expect a roll call vote on confirmation of the Kies nomination during Thursday’s session. The Senate may also consider S.J.Res.59, to direct the removal of United States Armed Forces from hostilities against the Islamic Republic of Iran that have not been authorized by Congress. Another message will be sent when more information is available.
