Schedule for Wednesday, June 25, 2025

The Senate stands in recess until 3:30pm on Wednesday, June 25, 2025.

 

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #140, Paul Dabbar, of New York, to be Deputy Secretary of Commerce.

 

At approximately 4:15pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Dabbar nomination.  Following disposition of the Dabbar nomination, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #93, Kenneth Kies, of Virginia, to be an Assistant Secretary of the Treasury.

 

If cloture is invoked on the Kies nomination, the Senate will vote on confirmation at a time to be determined by the Majority Leader in consultation with the Democratic Leader on Thursday, June 26, 2025.

 

Wednesday June 25th at approx. 4:15pm – 2 roll call votes:

  1. Confirm Executive Calendar #140, Paul Dabbar, of New York, to be Deputy Secretary of Commerce
  2. Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #93, Kenneth Kies, of Virginia, to be an Assistant Secretary of the Treasury
