The Senate stands adjourned until 11:00am on Wednesday, June 11, 2025.

 

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #173 William Long, to be Commissioner of Internal Revenue.

 

At approximately 12:00pm, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Long nomination. If cloture is invoked, the post-cloture time will be considered expired at 2:00pm and Senate will vote on confirmation of the Long nomination at a time to be determined by the Majority Leader in consultation with the Democratic Leader.

 

At approximately 2:00pm, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Hagerty-Gillibrand substitute amendment #2307 to S.1583, GENIUS Act.

 

The second degree amendment filing deadline for Hagerty-Gillibrand substitute amendment #2307 is 1 hour prior to the cloture vote, if cloture is invoked.

 

At approx. 3:30pm it will be in order for Senator Murphy or his designee to make motions to discharge S.J.Res.53, a joint resolution providing for congressional disapproval of the proposed foreign military sale to the Government of Qatar and S.J.Res.54, a joint resolution providing for congressional disapproval of the proposed foreign military sale to the Government of the United Arab Emirates.  There will then be up to 2 hours of debate equally divided between the Leaders or their designees followed by two roll call votes on the motions to discharge the resolutions (expected at approx. 4:30pm).

  2. Motion to discharge S.J.Res.54 - A joint resolution providing for congressional disapproval of the proposed foreign military sale to the Government of the United Arab Emirates of certain defense articles and services
