The Senate
stands adjourned until 11:00am on Friday, April 19, 2024, and does so as a
further mark of respect to Former Senator Joseph Isadore Lieberman.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of the motion to proceed to Calendar #365, H.R.7888, to reform the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978, post-cloture.
All time during adjournment, recess, Morning Business, and Leader remarks count toward post-cloture time on the motion to proceed.
Discussions continue on path to complete action on the FISA bill. Roll call votes are expected during Friday’s session.
