Schedule for Pro Forma Session and Tuesday, July 18, 2023
The Senate stands adjourned until 9:30am on Friday, July 14 for a pro forma session only with no business conducted.
When the Senate adjourns on Friday July 14th, it will next convene at 3:00pm on Tuesday, July 18, 2023.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #21 Rachel Bloomekatz, of Ohio, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Sixth Circuit, post-cloture.
At approximately 5:30pm, all post-cloture time will be considered expired and the Senate will vote on confirmation of the nomination. Upon disposition of the nomination, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to Calendar #119, S. 2226, National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2024.
