Schedule for Wednesday, June 16, 2021

The Senate stands adjourned until 10:30am on Wednesday, June 16, 2021.

 

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session to resume consideration of Executive Calendar #148, Radhika Fox, of California, to be an Assistant Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency.

 

At approximately 11:30am, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Fox nomination. Following that vote, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #173, Lydia Kay Griggsby, of Maryland, to be United States District Judge for the District of Maryland.

 

If cloture is invoked on either of the nominations, at approximately 3:15pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the nominations.

 

Additional roll call votes are possible during Wednesday’s session.

 

Cloture has been filed on the following nominations:

1.      Executive Calendar #148, Radhika Fox, of California, to be an Assistant Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency.

2.      Executive Calendar #173, Lydia Kay Griggsby, of Maryland, to be United States District Judge for the District of Maryland

3.      Executive Calendar #123, Tommy P. Beaudreau, of Alaska, to be Deputy Secretary of the Interior

4.      Executive Calendar #157, John K. Tien, of Georgia, to be Deputy Secretary of Homeland

 

Wednesday June 16th at 11:30am – 2 roll call votes:

1.      Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #148, Radhika Fox, of California, to be an Assistant Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency.

2.      Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #173, Lydia Kay Griggsby, of Maryland, to be United States District Judge for the District of Maryland

 

Wednesday June 16th at 3:15pm – if cloture is invoked, up to 2 roll call votes:

1. Confirmation of Executive Calendar #148, Radhika Fox, of California, to be an Assistant Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency.

2. Confirmation of Executive Calendar #173, Lydia Kay Griggsby, of Maryland, to be United States District Judge for the District of Maryland.
