Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of Executive Calendar #911, Nathan A. Simington, of Virginia, to be a Member of the Federal Communications Commission.
At approximately 11:00am, Senator Udall will deliver his farewell address.
At 12:00 Noon, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Simington nomination.
Following that vote, the Senate will recess until 2:15pm. At 2:15pm, Senator Gardner will deliver his farewell address.
At 4:00pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Schwartz and Simington nominations.
