The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Thursday, May 7, 2020. Following leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of the veto message on S.J. Res 68, a joint resolution to direct the removal of United States Armed Forces from hostilities against the Islamic Republic of Iran that have not been authorized by Congress.

At 1:30pm, the Senate will vote on passage of S.J.Res.68, notwithstanding the objections of the President to the contrary. We expect that to be the last vote of the week.
