The Senate stands
adjourned until 10:00am on Thursday, March 15, 2018.
Following leader
remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of the motion to proceed to Calendar #339, H.R.1865: SESTA/FOSTA.
As a reminder, during
Wednesday’s session Senator McConnell moved to proceed to H.R.1865 and filed
cloture on the motion. The cloture vote will occur after the confirmation vote
on the McAleenan nomination on Monday, March 19.
As
a further reminder, during Wednesday’s session cloture was invoked on Executive
Calendar #598, the nomination of Kevin K. McAleenan, of Hawaii, to be
Commissioner of U.S. Protection, Department of Homeland Security. The
confirmation vote on the McAleenan nomination will occur at 5:30pm on Monday,
March 19.
There
will be no roll call votes during Thursday’s session.
