Cloture fails on motion to proceed to 2-month extension of FISA

Cloture on the motion to proceed to S.1357, 2 month FISA extension, was not agreed to by a vote of 45-54. Senator McConnell changed his vote to no and entered a motion to reconsider the failed vote at a later time.

Senator McConnell made a series of consent requests. He asked consent to take up and pass S.1357 with amendments to extend FISA through May 8th, then June 5, then June 3, and finally June 2.

Senators Paul, Wyden, Heinrich, and Paul objected to the requests in that order.
