Schedule for Wednesday, April 5, 2017
On Wednesday, April 5, 2017, the Senate will continue to consider the nomination of Neil Gorsuch.
The time following Leader remarks until 11:00am will be equally divided;
The time from 11:00am until 12:00 noon will be under control of the Republicans;
The time from 12:00 noon until 1:00pm will be under control of the Democrats;
Debate time from 1:00pm until 9:00pm will be divided in one hour alternating blocks.
As a reminder, Senator McConnell filed cloture on the Gorsuch nomination on Tuesday. Wednesday will be the intervening day and cloture will ripen one hour after the Senate convenes on Thursday, April 6th.
