President Trump: A very special man, Tommy Tuberville, great football coach by the way. He's running for governor. I don't know, you know, he was a great senator. I'd like to keep him in the Senate, but he wants to be a governor, and that's okay with me because everything he does, he does well. He's gonna be a great governor.
He's gonna be and cherish all of the values that the people of Alabama won by 45 points, and that means I know you and you know me, and we love each other. Uh, Tommy's gonna be a great governor, and you need a great governor, so important. And he just wanted to do it and could've been a senator for the rest of his life.
He wanted to go in and be governor because he's gonna do things that are so good, and I'm gonna work with him. So I just wanna let you know that Tommy Tuberville, I think you know this anyway, he's a friend of mine, has my complete and total endorsement. He's gonna be a phenomenal governor, and I love Alabama. Thank you.
