WASHINGTON, D.C. – Senate Democrats today released a new video highlighting how President Trump has already broken his promise to stand up to Wall Street and fight for middle and working class families. In the video, Senators Charles E. Schumer, Bernie Sanders, Sherrod Brown, and Elizabeth Warren cite President Trump’s selection of billionaires and bankers, including former Hedge Fund Manager Steve Mnuchin for Treasury Secretary, his intention to roll back important Wall Street reforms, his plans to gut the sole agency responsible for protecting consumers, and the Administrations’ dismantling of a rule that would protect Americans’ retirement savings from unethical investors as clear evidence that President Trump has and will continue to break the promises he made to the American people.
