The Senate stands adjourned until 3:00pm on Monday, April 27, 2026.

 

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of  Executive Calendar #670, Robert Cekada, of Florida, to be Director, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.

 

At approximately 5:30pm the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Cekada nomination.

 

During Thursday’s session Senator Thune also filed cloture on the motion to proceed to Cal. #373, S.4344 To extend section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978 for 3 years.
