The Senate stands in recess until 10:00am on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of morning business with senators permitted to speak therein for up to ten minutes each.
At approximately 2:00pm, senators should expect a roll call vote on a motion to discharge S.J.Res.123, Iran War Powers (Duckworth).
During Wednesday’s session, roll call votes are expected with respect to motions to discharge S.J.Res.32, disapproving of sale of certain articles and services to Israel (re: bulldozers) (Sanders) and S.J.Res.138, disapproving of sale of certain articles and services to Israel (re: 1000-pound bombs) (Sanders). Another message will be sent when more information is available on timing.
During Wednesday’s session, consideration of H.J.Res.140, MN Boundary Waters CRA, is possible. Another message will be sent when more information is available.
During Tuesday’s session, Senator Thune filed cloture on Executive Calendar #671 Andrew B. Davis, of Texas, to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Texas. Consideration of nomination is expected on Thursday.
