Schedule for Pro Forma Session and Monday, June 23, 2025

The Senate stands adjourned for a pro forma session only with no business conducted on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 3:15pm.

 

When the Senate adjourns on Friday, it will next convene at 4:30pm on Monday, June 23, 2025.

 

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of Morning Business with Senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each.

 

At approximately 5:30pm, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #138, Daniel Zimmerman, of North Carolina, to be an Assistant Secretary of Defense.

 

During Wednesday’s session, cloture was filed on the following nominations:

  1. Executive Calendar #138, Daniel Zimmerman, of North Carolina, to be an Assistant Secretary of Defense
  2. Executive Calendar #140, Paul Dabbar, of New York, to be Deputy Secretary of Commerce
  3. Executive Calendar #93, Kenneth Kies, of Virginia, to be an Assistant Secretary of the Treasury

 

Monday June 23rd at approx. 5:30pm – 1 roll call vote:

  1. Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #138, Daniel Zimmerman, of North Carolina, to be an Assistant Secretary of Defense
