The Senate will convene at 10:00am on Thursday, May 22, 2025.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of H.J.Res.88, Providing congressional disapproval of the rule submitted by the Environmental Protection Agency relating to "California State Motor Vehicle and Engine Pollution Control Standards; Advanced Clean Cars II; Waiver of Preemption; Notice of Decision." The Joint Resolution will be considered read a third time and the Senate will vote on passage of the Joint Resolution.
Following disposition of H.J.Res.88 Republicans are expected to make a motion to proceed to H.J.Res.87, providing congressional disapproval of the rule submitted by the Environmental Protection Agency relating to "California State Motor Vehicle and Engine Pollution Control Standards; Heavy-Duty Vehicle and Engine Emission Warranty and Maintenance Provisions; Advanced Clean Trucks; Zero Emission Airport Shuttle; Zero-Emission Power Train Certification; Waiver of Preemption; Notice of Decision".
Additional roll call votes are expected during Thursday’s session.
