Schedule for Monday, May 5, 2025

The Senate stands adjourned until 3:00pm on Monday, May 5, 2025.

 

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of Morning Business with Senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each.

 

Republicans are expected to make a motion to proceed to H.J.Res.61, Providing for congressional disapproval, of the rule submitted by the EPA relating to "National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants: Rubber Tire Manufacturing".  Senators should expect a roll call vote on the motion at approx. 5:30pm.

 

During Thursday’s session cloture was invoked on Executive Calendar #60, Frank Bisignano to be Commissioner of Social Security Administration.  The Senate will vote on confirmation at a time to be determined by the Majority Leader in consultation with the Democratic Leader on Tuesday, May 6th.
