The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Thursday, May 23, 2024.

 

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session to resume consideration of Executive Calendar #552 Melissa Griffin Dalton, of Virginia, to be Under Secretary of the Air Force, post-cloture.

 

At approximately 11:00am, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Dalton nomination.

 

At approximately 2:00pm the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to Cal. #397, S.4361 - A bill making emergency supplemental appropriations for border security and combating fentanyl for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2024, and for other purposes.

 

Senators are encouraged to vote in a timely manner during tomorrow’s session in order to prevent delays.
