Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #598, Georgia N. Alexakis, of Illinois, to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of Illinois, post-cloture.
At approximately 11:45am, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Alexakis nomination.
Following the confirmation vote, the Senate will recess until 2:00pm to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.
At approximately 3:00pm, the Senate will vote on cloture on the motion to proceed to Cal. #211, H.R.3935, An act to amend title 49, United States Code, to reauthorize and improve the Federal Aviation Administration and other civil aviation programs.
