The Senate stands adjourned until 11:00am on Tuesday, December 19, 2023.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of Executive Calendar #430 Christopher Charles Fonzone, of Pennsylvania, to be an Assistant Attorney General.
The Senate will recess from 12:30pm-2:15pm to allow for weekly caucus meetings.
At approximately 2:15pm the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Fonzone nomination. If cloture is invoked, all post-cloture time will be deemed expired and the Senate will immediately vote on confirmation of the nomination, followed by the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #444 Sara E. Hill, of Oklahoma, to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of Oklahoma. If cloture is invoked on the Hill nomination, the post-cloture time will be deemed expired and the Senate will vote immediately on confirmation of the nomination.
Upon disposition of the Fonzone and Hill nominations, the Senate will vote on confirmation of Executive Calendar #144 Elizabeth H. Richard, of Virginia, a Career Member of the Senior Foreign Service, Class of Career Minister, to be Coordinator for Counterterrorism, with the rank and status of Ambassador at Large.

4. Executive Calendar #117 Jose Javier Rodriguez, of Florida, to be an Assistant Secretary of Labor
5. Executive Calendar #142 Joseph Goffman, of Pennsylvania, to be an Assistant Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency
