The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of the conference report to accompany H.R.2670, the National Defense Authorization Act, post-cloture. All time during adjournment, recess, morning business, and Leader remarks will count post-cloture. Discussions are ongoing to complete action on the NDAA conference report.

Cloture has been filed on the following nominations:

1.      Executive Calendar #304 Jerry Edwards, Jr., of Louisiana, to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Louisiana

2.      Executive Calendar #305 Brandon S. Long, of Louisiana, to be United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Louisiana

Roll call votes are expected during Wednesday’s session.
