The Senate has received the veto messages on S.J.Res.9 Lesser-Prairie Chicken CRA and S.J.Res.24 Northern Long-Eared Bat CRA. At times to be determined by the Majority Leader in concurrence with the Republican Leader prior to October 4th, there will be up to 2 hours for debate equally divided on each resolution prior to votes on passage of each joint resolution, the objections of the President to the contrary notwithstanding.

 

Executive Business

At a time to be determined, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the following nominations:

  1. Executive Calendar #129 Todd Gee, of the District of Columbia, to be United States Attorney for the Southern District of Mississippi for the term of four years
  2. Executive Calendar #266 Tara K. McGrath, of California, to be United States Attorney for the Southern District of California for the term of four years
