The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Tuesday, July 11, 2023.

 

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #178 Xochitl Torres Small, of New Mexico, to be Deputy Secretary of Agriculture, post-cloture.

 

At approximately 11:30am, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Torres Small nomination. Following disposition of the nomination, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #56 Rosemarie Hidalgo, of the District of Columbia, to be Director of the Violence Against Women Office, Department of Justice.

 

Following the cloture vote, the Senate will recess until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.

 

At approximately 2:15pm, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #33 Kymberly Kathryn Evanson, of Washington, to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Washington.

 

The Senate will recess from 3:00pm until 4:00pm to allow for an All Senators briefing.

 

At approximately 4:30pm, if cloture is invoked, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Hidalgo nomination, confirmation of the Evanson nomination, and on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #8 Tiffany M. Cartwright, of Washington, to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Washington.

1.      Executive Calendar #56 Rosemarie Hidalgo, of the District of Columbia, to be Director of the Violence Against Women Office, Department of Justice

2.      Executive Calendar #33 Kymberly Kathryn Evanson, of Washington, to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Washington

3.      Executive Calendar #8 Tiffany M. Cartwright, of Washington, to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Washington

4.      Executive Calendar #34 Myong J. Joun, of Massachusetts, to be United States District Judge for the District of Massachusetts

5.      Executive Calendar #114 Kalpana Kotagal, of Ohio, to be a Member of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission

6.      Executive Calendar #141 David M. Uhlmann, of Michigan, to be an Assistant Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency

7.      Executive Calendar #21 Rachel Bloomekatz, of Ohio, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Sixth Circuit
