The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Tuesday, July 28, 2020.

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration Executive Calendar #647, David Cleveland Joseph, of Louisiana, to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Louisiana.

At 11:30am, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Joseph nomination followed by a cloture vote on Executive Calendar #641, Dana T. Wade, of the District of Columbia, to be an Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.

Following the vote on the Wade nomination, the Senate will recess until 2:15pm.

At 2:30pm, all post-cloture time will expire and the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Joseph and Wade nominations.

At 11:30am – 2 roll call votes:

1.     Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #647, David Cleveland Joseph, of Louisiana, to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Louisiana.

2.     Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #641, Dana T. Wade, of the District of Columbia, to be an Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.

At 2:30pm – at least 2 roll call votes:

1.     Confirmation of Executive Calendar #647, David Cleveland Joseph, of Louisiana, to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Louisiana.

2.     Confirmation of Executive Calendar #641, Dana T. Wade, of the District of Columbia, to be an Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.

As a reminder, cloture has also been filed on the following nominations:

1.     Executive Calendar #705, Marvin Kaplan, of Kansas, to be a Member of the National Labor Relations Board.

2.     Executive Calendar #707, Lauren McGarity McFerran, of the District of Columbia, to be a Member of the National Labor Relations Board.

3.     Executive Calendar #770, Derek Kan, of California, to be Deputy Director of the Office of Management and Budget.
