The Senate stands adjourned until 9:30am on Wednesday, October 23, 2019.

 

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of S.J.Res.50, providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Internal Revenue Service, Department of the Treasury, relating to "Contributions in Exchange for State or Local Tax Credits".

 

At 2:45pm, all debate time on the joint resolution will expire and the Senate will vote on passage of S.J.Res.50.

 

As a reminder, during Tuesday’s session the motion to proceed to H.R.3055 was adopted by voice vote. The substitute amendment #948 (Senate texts of THUD, Ag, Interior, and CJS appropriations) and a placeholder amendment #950 were made pending.
